Estrogen Blockers:
Naturally Manage Your High Estrogen Level

If you know that you have a high level of estrogen, eating foods that are naturally estrogen blockers can help you to achieve a balanced level of estrogen and avoid symptoms of estrogen dominance.

Among other symptoms, high levels of estrogen can cause bloating, tender breasts, headaches, yeast infections, depression, joint pain, and a weak sex drive.

Lifestyle

See your doctor

Women with a high estrogen level may be at risk for developing breast cancer. Be sure to see your doctor to have your levels checked with a urine, blood, or saliva test.

Exercise

As you might guess, regular exercise and maintaining a low body weight significantly reduce your risk of breast cancer, and do many other wonderful things for your health. Aim to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, even if it just a nice walk around your neighborhood.

De-stress

Getting too much toxic stress increases our cortisol levels which suppress progesterone, an estrogen balancing hormone. This can lead to excess estrogen.

If you can, eliminate negative relationships and thoughts from your life. Talk to a good friend, exercise, read, take baths, and listen to your favorite music. Be good to yourself!
